Photography classes
I offer both online and in-person classes. For online sessions, we connect through a video call so you can learn right from home. For in-person lessons, I teach in the Orillia area at a variety of relaxed local spots where we can meet over a beverage, along with some on-location shooting sessions.
Photography for Beginners: 4 Hours
My in-person beginner digital photography class is perfect for a beginner looking to take better photos of their favourite people, places and things. My goal is to help you feel more comfortable and confident with your camera. We’ll cover: understanding your primary settings, seeing light, composition and we’ll head outside to shoot together to put what we’ve learned into practice. Price: $249
Coaching Video Call: 1 Hour
Ask me anything coaching call. For one hour I’m an open book, we can discuss anything you’d like via video call. Topics may include, but not limited to: working with couples, marketing, workflow etc. Price: $85
One on One Live Shoot: 2 Hours
I’ll arrange for a couple and we’ll go out and shoot together. I’ll walk you through my approach to shooting couples explaining my thought process along the way. We'll cover: my approach, posing, technique, client experience etc. Price: $350
Business Kickstart: 8 Hours
A comprehensive 8 hour day (or two 4 hour evenings) here in Orillia. We’ll cover a wide variety of topics, review your business and go out for a live shoot with a real couple. We'll cover: Portfolio Review, Business Strategy/Online Presence, Workflow, Lighting/Posing, Website/Image Review. Price: $600
